From Mid-America Garden catalog, 1984: PECAN SPOT- SDB, 9" {23cm), Midseason. Overall color is light smoky buff. Standards have darker veining and mauve infusion at the base. Falls have a nice pecan brown spot diffusing out to become veins to complement the standards. The deep purple beard overlaid with old gold becomes the focal point of the iris.
