Light apricot yellow with cocoa pink spot on Falls and peach lines around beard; white beard tipped peach. Wright seedling# L-85: ([[Sdb.SdbBlueTrinket]['Blue Trinket']] x [[Sdb.SdbCottonBlossom]['Cotton Blossom']]) X Wright seedling# L-32: (([[Sdb.SdbPinkCushion]['Pink Cushion']] x [[Sdb.SdbLennaM]['Lenna M']]) x [[Sdb.SdbAmberShadow][Amber Shadow]]). |From AIS Bulletin #257 April 1985 Introducing PIPESTONE-Sdlg. 80-10-5. 12". An appealing iris with good proportion and nice form. Upright standards and neatly ruffled, semi-flaring falls of good width and substance. The color is a lovely soft apricot-yellow with a cocoa-pink spot (the color of pipestone). White beards are tipped peach. Some sibs are very pink, but this is the nicest iris in the cross. Pod fertile  $10.00. Kirkland Iris Garden.|
