Nichols 8109A) X Adoring Glances. A really exciting color of blended red-violet with more intense coloring around the hafts and a tiny rim of gold around the falls with a hint of it in the stds. The beards are

- SDB 'Serendipity Elf' was blooming at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately, May 7-15, in 2017.
'Serendipity Elf' has Purple Based Foliage that didn't cover much of the base of the leaves, but was very dark. It was visible at least during and after flowering. -- HollyJohnson2017
