2018, Spoon

'Sparrow' (Ginny Spoon, R. 2018). Seedling 2010-G23 JSPR. SDB, 9" (23 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards. light yellow (RHS 161A/B), light pink center, green midline veins, closed, domed, slightly ruffled; style arms light yellow, light orange midrib; falls light yellow, red-purple (187A/B) spot dissected with thin light yellow hour glass shaped midline, cream white sunburst with red-purple veins, flared, tailored edges except ruffling beside central point; beards wide, showy white tipped red (41A); slight spicy fragrance. Seedling 2003-G1 JSPR: ('Hot Babe' x unknown) X 'Eye of the Tiger'. Winterberry 2018.
