From Longfield Iris Farms catalog, 1955: YELLOW BANTAM (No. 707-1) (Samovar x I. Pumila yellow) A fine bright lemon Chrome self with Cadmium beards. The well formed dainty flowers are just 2-1/2 inches. There are several flowers to a stalk with height at 12 inches. The height of the stem makes it ideal for cutting. Early, hardy, sun-resistant. $4.00. |
