'Dear Delight' ( Currier McEwen, R. 1975) Seedling 70/136(2). SIB (28 chrom. diploid), 28" (71 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards light blue (RHS 97A); Falls light blue (96D), pure white blaze. 66/96(12): ('Cambridge' x unknown) X 'Cambridge'. McEwen 1975. Honorable Mention 1977.

This light blue child and grandchild of Cambridge surpasses its famous forebear, and sets a new standard for "nearest to true blue." Low; early; branches; horizontal; round; very fertile.
