1988, McEwen

'Dianne's Daughter' ( Currier McEwen, R. 1988) Seedling T4 78/174. SIB (tet.), 30" (75 cm), Late to very late bloom. Standards violet blue (RHS 93C); lighter violet blue (93D) styles, lighter violet blue (97C) midrib; Falls darker violet blue (93B), slight white stitching at haft edge, slight silver edge, white signal with white streak halfway to tip; ruffled. 'Dear Dianne' X 'Adj'. Pope's Perennials, Seaways Gardens 1988.

From AIS Bulletin #268 January 1988 Introducing DIANNE'S DAUGHTER: Tetraploid, late to very late. A charming child of Dear Dianne with 4 1/2" flowers on branched 30" stalks. Compact, triangular form with 2" falls and lovely ruffling. A self of (RHS-890), more blue than its parent. $30. Seaways Gardens.
