From AIS Bulletin #301 April 1996 Introducing Harpswell Snow: (T8884/54) tetraploid, EM-LM. Our recently introduced white Siberian irises have been creamy white. This one is a clear white. The strong, well branched, moderately tall plants carry 5-1/2" flowers with wide flaring falls. The small greenish yellow signals are covered by the wide, feathered styles giving a pure white impression. From seedlings involving Variation in Blue, Marshmallow Frosting, Cambridge, Wing on Wing, Fourfold White and Pirouette. $35. Eartheart Gardens. |
