From Joe Pye Weed catalog, 2017: LIKE LAVENDER - SIBERIAN. Schafer/Sacks (Seedling No. S08-99-13), LM-L, 20". There are many colors of lavender and they may all be expressed in this flower on one day or another! The short plant is covered with medium sized flowers - full, flaring and ruffled. Short hafts give an almost rose-like appearance to each flower. Styles have redder edges, bluer within. Standards and falls vary in color with the weather from lavender blue to lavender pink. Soft yellow signals. Heavy bloom with four buds (2 branches). Successive stalks stretch the bloom season.
