1991, Stahly

'Moon Silk' (Harold Stahly, R. 1990). Seedling 85-1-A. SIB, 28" (71 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards and style arms creamy white; falls widely flared pale yellow, orange yellow signal, small yellow green veins radiating outward; ruffled. 'Super Ego' X 'Sally Kerlin'. Stahly 1991. Exhibition Certificate 1986; Honorable Mention 1994, Award of Merit 1996.

From AIS Bulletin #281 April 1991 Introducing MOON SILK (Stahly '91) SIB, 28", M. Creamy white standards and style arms, pale yellow falls (very yellow in cool weather), orange-yellow signal and hafts with yellow-green veins radiating out onto the falls. Excellent upright foliage and stalks. Standards are over 1" wide and nearly horizontal, falls nearly 2" wide and very flared, producing a round, ruffled flower. One branch. Sdlg. 85-1-A: Sally Kerlin X Superego. EC '86. $30.00. Harold Stahly.
