1986, Warburton

'Purple Prose' (Bee Warburton, R. 1985). Seedling ARV-82-20. SIB (28 chrom. diploid), 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Ruffled silky violet (RHS 86C), violet styles with deep teal blue center, feathered midribs, curled crests. ('Atoll' x 'Ruffled Velvet') X 'Ruffled Velvet'. Joe Pye Weed's Garden 1986.
