), height 22" (56 cm). Midseason bloom. White ground veined violet (RHS 93B/C/D) throughout giving light blue effect, yellow signal blending to green in heart; style arms with violet midrib, pearly edge. 'Sarah Tiffney'
seedling X unknown. Joe Pye Weed 1991. Honorable Mention 1994; Award of Merit 1996; SIGNA Medal 2001
| From AIS Bulletin #281 April 1991 Introducing BETWEEN THE LINES-VERSICOLOR. Schafer/Sacks (Seedling No. SP85-2-4), 22", M. This is the bluest versicolor we have ever seen. Yet the blue is an optical illusion created between the lines of the violet-blue veining and the white ground. This fascinating effect is enhanced by a yellow signal with a prominent green throat. (Exhibition Certificate 1988). Sib to Little Rhyme. $25.00. Joe Pye Weed's Garden.
