| From AIS Bulletin #333 April 2004 Introducing DAZZLING EYES (Tasco 2004) SPEC-X (unguicularis), 9", EML Seedling # 98-UNG-01. Medium violet self with a precise lined haft pattern ending in a bold blue and white watermark. Yellow gold center stripe which ends with a white forked spear; lower edge of falls have a thin silver margin. Inside base of standards are burgundy red. Blooms intermittently here from late October through mid-March. (I. ssp Cretensis X unknown large flowered unguicularis clone (possibly Monardera)). Recommended for USDA zone 7 and higher only.
