'Eco Easter' (Don Jacobs, Unregestered 2009) Section Lophiris, Iris japonica. Bloom season, for pot plant April 2-10 in Roxboro, North Carolina. height 13" (23 cm), Flower overall pale violet blue (RHS 97D) on outside and inside. On inside of standards a narrow yellow-orange line about half the length from the base along the midrib that is outlined on either side with dots and dashes of darker more reddish violet blue (RHS 94D). The falls with a central blotch of orange (RHS 25A-B) surrounded by a paler violet but that is outlined with radiating dots and dashes of reddish violet blue (RHS 94D). The edge of the falls finely bristled. The Style arms shaded darker on each side of midrib and style crests fimbriate. Diameter of flower 2" (5 cm), Each stalk with 4-8 buds.
