Section Oncocyclus; Color Class-S9D; Height 5" (13 cm); Standards larger than falls. Wine red to dark brown flowers with cinnamon-purple veins; Large blackish brown signal; Fl. Cauc. 1: 255. 1928; (flower nearly as tall as leaves); Tentatively placed in the Acutiloba Aggregate.
Chromosome counts; 2n=20-Awishai & Zohary 1980.
