or possibly a new species. Grown and shown by Dr. J.R. Ellis. More robust than Iris confusa. Self-fertile, but not long lived and cultivar represents a seed strain. Standards and falls white, yellow signal markings fading to a halo of light violet dots. Not discussed in Mathew's The Iris.
