Iris parvula Vved. (Aleksei Ivanovich Vvedensky, 1935, Hissar and Zeravshan Mountains, Central Asia); Subgenus Scorpiris (Juno); height 4-6" (10-12 cm); 1-2 flowers, pale yellowish-green with dirty yellow spots and veins to the side of the dissected pale yellowish-green crest. Rootstock a well developed bulb 1 cm in diameter with papery outer coats and short, much thickened, fusiform roots; Stem 5-10 cm long, with subdistant leaves and more or less distinct internodes; Leaves nearly straight, very slightly recurved, about the same width throughout until quickly coming to a point at the apex; leaves with narrow scaberulous margins; lower leaves 5-15 mm broad; Perianth tube bluish green about 4 cm long; Falls
