I. versicolor), 22" (56 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards medium to dark bluish purple; style arms edged lighter, tips fringed dark purple; Falls dark bluish purple, prominent radiating darker veining overall, signal brilliant yellow; spring foliage dark aubergine, tips blended dark green with maturity, stalks and spathes blackish purple. Collected form, coastal Carolina. Draycott 2001.
