Iris thoroldi (John Gibert Baker in J.D. Hooker, 1894) Despite Baker placing this with the beardless Irises the illustration in Hooker's Icones clearly shows a beard. Later this name was considered a synonym of Iris potaniniiIris Thoroldi, in . (= Iris potaninii.).
