'Unguicularis Speciosa'. (
C. G. Van Tubergen, 1900).
Series Unguiculares; Color Code-B3D; falls deep violet blue: 2n=38. Van Tubergen 1900. Dykes (1921) noted that there may be two plants circulating under the name I. speciosa, but he believes but the plant he calls speciosa is distinct from Algerian unguicularis by having "curious bosses or swellings at the base of the segments of the flower."
