From Fairmount Gardens catalog,1945: VERNAL DAWN. A form of Iris Verna with flowers of palest pinky lavender. The orange crests on the falls are so intense that the flower seems as if it were a glowing opal. A gem for border or rock garden. 5 in. $4.00
