'Char-True' (Tell Muhlestein, R. 1965) SPU, 40" (102 cm), Late midseason bloom. Chartreuse-yellow self. 'Two Opals' X 'Monteagle', sibling to 'Fluted Opal'. Tell 1972. Honorable Mention 1975.

From AIS Bulletin #205 April 1972 Introducing CHAR-TRUE (Muhlestein) ME. 40". Two Opals X Monteagle, a sib to Fluted Opal. Ruffled and fluted chartreuse-yellow self. Not large, but very personable; nothing like it. Net $20.00. Tell's Gardens.
