'Lookingglass Eyes' ( O. David Niswonger, R. 1976) Seedling #Sp 1-76. SPU, 39" (99 cm). Early midseason bloom. Standards charcoal with flush of pale yellow; falls pale yellow, edged charcoal. Seedling #Sp 9-72: ("Noon By Day'' x unknown) X unknown. Niswonger 1979. Honorable Mention 1981.

| From Cape Iris catalog, 1980: LOOKINGGLASS EYES (Niswonger '79) Sp 1-76: Blue Lassie X Unknown (probably a self). Spuria, 39", Early-Mid., 5yLN/PY6LN. This pale yellow is edged with charcoal and gives the impression of horn rimmed glasses. It's different and I think you will enjoy it. $10.00 |
