From AIS Bulletin #293 April 1994 Introducing MISSOURI SPRINGS (Niswonger '94) Sdlg. Sp 2-91: Sp 1-86: (Missouri Streams x unknown) x I demetrii. Spuria, 40", M-L. We have had a problem with fading in the blues. I. demetrii seems to have solved that problem--at least in Missouri. This is a deep blue with a small yellow signal. The flower does not have the full wide form such as Missouri Rivers or Missouri Lakes, but has all the vigor you would expect from a first generation hybrid. Not very fertile. $25.00. Cape Iris. |
