From Schreiner’s catalog, 2015: ABSOLUTE CRUSH (Schreiner 2015) ML. 36” As Jimmy G would say, we have an Absolute Crush on this Iris. Not one of the over 800 varieties of Tall Bearded Iris we grow combines Absolute Crush’s colors – powder puff standards and pale jacaranda falls. This soul-satisfying, beautifully formed amoena exudes serene elegance, as displayed in our photo at left. A flicker of yellow outlines the standards, and a meandering lavender border defines the winsome falls. Sporting an orange beard, 3 double-socketed branches, on 36” stems, Absolute Crush will be abloom late in the season when other varieties are but a memory. Seedling # TT1157-1"-- Schreiner's 2015 |
