From Fairmount Gardens catalog, 1967: ADELE STEARNS 61-11-A (Arthur Watkins 1966) M. A large ruffled flower that has a pleasing and attractive blending of light rose purple 533/2. The falls are 2-3/4 inches wide and are fluted in the border with a broad tangerine beard in contrast. The firm erect closed standards are very ruffled and firmly held by the strong midrib. The whole flower has an airy grace that is distinctive. 30 in. $25.00 |
