From Tip Top Gardens, 1936: 90— Adirondack, TB-M-S3L (Storer 1932), 40", S. afterglow, 42B5, peppered on white. F. royal purple, 43K11, fringe on white background. A translucent white, the peppered standards shading into a definite border of afterglow. The narrow border of royal purple on the outer half of falls shades to chrome lemon 9K2 near haft with veins of Indian red 7L6. A most outstanding Iris. 74-1, 6-S $10.00. |
