Hybridizer's Comment: Very difficult colour to describe. Originally selected from our seedlings by Keith Keppel and we have decided to introduce it because it is different from any other Iris and it also gives very different seedlings. Standards are buff-violet, deepening towards the midrib. Falls are light brown over yellow looking a bit like honey brown which lightens towards the beards and petal edges and deepens towards the hafts. Beards are bright orange, not tangerine. Lovely balanced flowers with show stems, loads of substance and a good grower. |
