Hybridizer's Comment: Delicious and a great iris to start the season as it flowers for us with the Dwarf Bearded Iris. Standards are lilac to cattleya mauve and falls are deeper cattleya magenta with 1/4" well defined edge of the standard mauve colour. The flower form of this is outstanding with lovely balance. Flowers are ruffled, fluted with lace galore. Well branched with 8 or 9 buds. lt is a good grower, though it can bloom very heavily. Tangerine orange beards. Extremely fertile as pod and pollen. We have an amazing range of seedlings from this new one. |
