Ryan Carter, R. 2003) Seedling 97-11A. TB, 35" (89 cm), Early to midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards light lavender, golden yellow extending up midrib; style arms and Falls golden yellow; beards golden yellow; ruffled, flared.

From AIS Bulletin #329 April 2003 Introducing Apollo's Robe (R. Carter) TB, 35" (B9 em), EM &RE (Del. in zone 6b). (Sdlg. # 97-11Al. Ruffled and flared bicolar. Light lavender standards with golden yellow extending up the midribs. Falls and beards are golden yellow. (Somewhat similar in color pattern to Affaire.) Reliable rebloom and vigorous growth. Stalks with 7 buds. EC for best seedling in 1999 C&P Iris Society spring show as a youth member. (Uriah the Hillite X (Bethany Claire x Busy Being Blue)). $40. Winterberry Gardens. |
