'Apricot Lustre' ( Melvina Suiter, R. 1959). TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-O5Y, Deep-apricot self; no haft marks. 'Apricot Sheen' X ((( 'Beau Gay' x 'Salmon Sheen') x ( 'Chosen' x 'Prairie Sunset')) x (47-72A x 'Pink Formal')). Suiter 1961.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: APRICOT LUSTRE (Suiter '60l M. 34 in. (Beau Gay x Salmon Sheen) x (Chosen x P. Sunset x (Tell 47-72A x P. Formal). An extra rich and deep self of apricot orange. Large and showy with broad, heavily substanced flowers. Extra choice. 12.50.
