From Carl Salbach catalog 1943: ARCTIC (Kleinsorge). Very large white with shading of gold throughout the center of the flower. Vigorous grower and free bloomer. 48". $3.00.
From Milliken Iris Gardens catalog, 1948: ARCTIC (Kleinsorge) A vigorous variety which performs well throughout the country and one which is very useful in landscaping. The flowers, of good size, are white with the central portion yellow. 3-1/2 to 4 feet. 75c; 3 for $2.00.
