From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: ARGENTINA (Mohr). S. pure white with a few bronze and red-brown markings at the base; F. pure white prominently veined bronze and red-brown at base; orange beard; well branched. A splendid Iris, similar in size and height to Micheline Charraire but not as good because of the too prominent markings. One of the largest whites. Height 36 to 40 inches. $7.50. |
