'Arthouse' (
Barry Blyth, R. 2008) Seedling P141-2. TB, 35" (89 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards icy blue, slightly deeper at midrib; Falls ice blue overlaid deeper blue merging at edges to soft plum-brown, reverse plum brown, white area across petal, small yellow chevron below rich burnt-orange beard; pronounced sweet fragrance. N196-2,
'Crystal Rhapsod' sib X
'Just Crazy'. Tempo Two 2008/09.
Hybridizer's Comment: Petal reverse shows with ruffles and it is plum brown. There is a white area across the falls just at the beards and a small yellow chevron that stands out below the beards. Beards are rich burnt orange. Very ruffled, full and wide. A most unique colour combination. Branching is a bit tight, but bud count is good and it is a good grower with a nice sweet perfume.
