2008/09, Blyth

'Back On Stage' ( Barry Blyth, R. 2008). Seedling N37-7. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards cream heavily infused violet, deeper at midrib; Falls cream with soft blending of pastel rose deepening at hafts; beards bright tangerine-red; pronounced sweet fragrance. 'Romancer' X 'Opposing Forces'. Tempo Two 2008/09.

Hybridizer's Comment: Standards are cream, but with so much violet infusion that it makes them look lavender-violet. Falls are cream with a soft blending of pastel rose deepening at the hafts. Beards are bright tangerine red. Flowers are ruffled and flared. Plenty of show stems along with a nice sweet perfume. Sister to Lunch In Madrid.
