'Beau Bright' (Chet Tompkins, R. 1973). [Sdlg. 71-21-19A]. TB, 39" (99 cm), Midseason to very late bloom. Bright chrome yellow self; self beard. ('Royal Gold' x 'Ovation') X ('Tinsel Town' x 'Royal Gold'). Fleur de Lis 1973.

VERY RARE...Endangered. Needs to be protected from extinction and should be added to the Guardian Garden List as of 2024.

  • I was able to dig one of the last few fans in 2020 from the Thelma Boose Garden in Winston-Salem, NC. The fan is now planted in my garden and has definitely increased. I will await its first bloom this spring of 2024. -- Main.davepote - 09 Mar 2024
