From Carl Salbach catalog 1942: BERKELEY SUNSHINE (Salbach 1942). (Happy Gift x Yellow Seedling.) Big ruffled deep cream self, except that the central part of the falls is a soft yellow. Standards are large, round, and well domed. Falls are broad and semi-flaring. Smooth, heavy substance, strong orange yellow beard. Blooms beautifully poised on well branched stems. Several blooms open at one time. Mid-season. 30". $10.00. |
