From Tell’s Iris Gardens catalog,1959: BLUE CREST (Luzon Crosby, Utah). Early to Late. 40 inches tall. ((Snow Flurry x Cloud Castle) x (Sylvia Murray x Cloud Castle)) X (Blue Throat). Lovely, flaring, tailored, white self with a delightful blue beard. The tall stalks are very well branched. With this breeding BLUE CREST should breed superb blues, whites and whites with both self and blue beards. This should make an ideal mate for Lady Bluebeard and MARRIOTT. No. C57-9. $25.00
