Virginia Messick, R. 1999). Seedling# M91-1. TB, 37" (94 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white with pink tinge, pale pink wash on lower midsection; falls rose pink tinged lavender, pale area at haft; beards tangerine, white at end.

From AIS Bulletin #317 April 2000 Introducing BRIDESMAID IN PINK (V. Messick, 2000) TB 37" M91-9 (Winifred Ross x (long line of Gaulter seedlings including Persian Berry). This pink amoena has white standards with a faint wash of pink, all edged with a white lace. The broad falls are pink, tinged lavender. Accent is on ruffling and fluting all the way to the haft. Good stalk, substance and form. Any bride would approve. $35.00. Messick Iris Garden. |
