1981, Morgan

'Brimmed Cerise Amo' (Austin Morgan, R. 1979). Seedling# M77-11B. TB, 35" (89 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards white; falls cerise with irregular lilac edging; yellow beard. 'Stunning' X 'Howdy Folks'. Iris Test Gardens 1981.

  • I think that some of these brimmed irises have been mixed up and there are not very many photos of them to study. One has to look at Morgan's catalogs and even there it is hard to make sense out of them. This photo from Wilson Banner ranch looks like it may be Brimmed Red Amo -- WikiGuest - 04 Dec 2023
