- Current description on Burgundy Brown
Standards greyed orange with violet blush and subdued yellow ground;
Falls bright yellow ground with 3/8" greyed orange plicata edge, thumbprints and throat; white signal,
greyed orange line from greyed orange beard tip about halfway down.
My description on Burgundy Brown:
Standards: reasonably dark brown with slight violet blush with subdued yellow ground,
Falls: Bright yellow ground with 3/8" brown plicata edges (same colour as standards). White thumbprints, yellow beards, tipped in brown, giving the beards a 'peppered' look on close inspection. Have ruffled edged falls.
A singular, dark Purple line, from end of each beard down through the middle of each fall, almost reaching the end of its fall.
Bloom time in NZ - October.
