'Cairo' (Rudolph Kleinsorge, R. 1952). TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-Y5, Blend of light golden-tan with underlay of old rose on Standards; Falls same with gold edging, brown patch. (seedling# 470=357 x 'San Antone') x 'Cascade Splendor'. Cooley 1952.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: CAIRO (Klein. 1952) M. 40 in. (Sdlg. No. 357 x San Antone) x Cascade Splendor). A gigantic flower of spreading form done in rich light tan with a glowing yellow undertone and a suffusion of buff on the hafts. A real beauty. 4.00.
