From Irisknoll Catalog, 1942: Capriccio — Late. Height, 40 inches, well-branched stalk. Large flower, delicate bi-color blend. Standards closed; bright, soft, deep tone of yellow. Falls spreading, overlaid ‘‘onion-skin” pink. Beard and styles yellow. Is of good size, with substance. Each $10.00
Cooley's 1945: CAPRICCIO (DeForest, 1942). Delicate but distinct bicolor blend; standards bright yellow, falls yellow, overlaid onion skin pink, beard and styles yellow. 40 inches tall. Each $4.00.
