From Wallace Iris Gardens catalog 1955: CHAMOIS - Kleinsorge '49 ) Large beautiful golden tan. Yellow beard is tipped bronze. Flowers are of heavy substance and are waved on the edges. $1.50.
"A soft, rich, coloring of chamois was excellent (Mass.)."; "The large, ruffled flower is lovely when viewed singly. However when more than one opens at a time the stalk is apt to be crowded (Ala.)." Unknown author, Varietal Comment. AIS Bulletin #101 (April 1946): 72.
