From Bonnewitz catalog 1928: CHATELET (Vilmorin). A lilac-pink variety from France which this year was not only taller, and of better color than ever before, but its blooms were larger than DREAM. HARRIET PRESBY was the only pink-lilac variety which exceeded it in both size and height. Some visitors ranked it with SUSAN BLISS, and although it is probable that the very rainy spring was responsible for some of its added color, yet it is probably a more valuable lilac-pink variety than Iris growers have previously believed. $ 1.50.
