'Cherokee Fashion' (Les Peterson, R. 1975). Seedling# LP 73-101. TB, 35" (89 cm). Midseason late bloom. Standards deep red-lavender, flushed medium brown at base; falls same with heavy overlay of medium brown across hafts and shoulders and extending down edges, area of light blue below reddish amber beard. Seedling# LP 71-25-D: ('Gala Madrid' x 'Port Lisbon') X seedling# LP 71-88: ('Satan, Jr.' x ('Ardi Loy' x seedling)). L Peterson 1976.

From AIS Bulletin #220 January 1976 Introducing CHEROKEE FASHION. TB, 35", ML. Full standards are of DEEP red- lavender flushed medium brown at base. Wide flaring falls same with heavy overlay of medium brown across hafts and shoulders and extending down edges. Area of light blue below reddish amber beard. Bud count 8-9; branching wide, pleasing. (Gala Madrid x Port Lisbon) X (Satan, Jr. x (Ardi Loy x sdlg.)). $25.00. Les Peterson.
