Les Fort, R. 1989). Seedling# 86-126-H. TB, 32" (81 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards slightly ruffled rich chocolate puce; falls dark burnt orange chocolate rim, blending from orange to yellow to white around orange beard, dark caramel hafts.

From AIS Bulletin #277 April 1990 Introducing Chocolate Marmalade (L. A. Fort '90) T.B., 32", Mid. season, 9 buds. E. C., Seedling No.: 86-126H. This flower is aptly named. The standards are rich chocolate puce, lightly ruffled; while the falls are a flaring dark burnt-orange-chocolate boarder blending to orange, then yellow to a small creamy-white area about the bright orange beards. Shoulders are a rich caramel color. $25. Fort Iris Garden. |
