From Mission Bell Gardens catalog, 1963: CLAUDIA RENE (Larry Gaulter) Early to Late. 36'. A fantasy of color unmatched for brilliance and harmony. Raspberry-pink standards with overtones of golden amber; rose-violet falls, with rich sienna-brown shoulders and blending to ochre-yellow at the edges, decorated with a bold burnt-orange beard. Wide ruffled petals, flaring arched falls and cupped standards contribute to beautiful form. Stalks are strong and well branched. (Glittering Amber X Mademoiselle). No. 60-37. Net 20.00.
