1987, Innerst

'Contrite' (Sterling Innerst, R. 1986). Seedling# 1013-8. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Laced mid-pink, lighter in center of falls; white beard tipped light blue; slight musky fragrance. 'Sterling Blush' X seedling# 331-2: ('Point Clear' x 'Pink Taffeta'). Innerst 1987.

From AIS Bulletin #265 April 1987 Introducing CONTRITE-Sdlg. 1013-8. TB, 34", M-L. Form is near perfect-round, flaring and full. Great branching, 7 buds and very lacy. Warm pink self with lighter area in center of falls. Quietly dramatic. Fertile both ways. Sterling Blush X (Point Clear x Pink Taffeta). $25.00. Sterling Innerst.
