Walter Moores, R. 1999). Seedling# 92-16. TB, 34" (86 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards red brown, midrib blended cream; style arms cranberry red; falls cream ground, wide cranberry red plicata band and dotting, red violet centerline; beards bronze; heavily ruffled; slight spicy fragrance.

- This is one of the best irises I've introduced. The color is breathtaking and does not fade. It is an early bloomer and has probably never been seen in bloom at an AIS Convention though it was guested at several. It did win an H.M.
It is a great grower and is loaded with blooms on uncrowded stalks. --
